Hanoi area

River water levels change slowly.
Central Region
From September 21 to 23, the Thanh Hoa to Quang Binh area will have moderate rain, heavy rain and scattered thunderstorms, locally very heavy rain; the Quang Tri to Binh Thuan area will have scattered showers and thunderstorms, in the late afternoon and evening there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms in some places.
From September 24 to 27, the Central region will have scattered showers and thunderstorms. Thunderstorms may include tornadoes, hail, and strong gusts of wind.
Early next week, there is a possibility of a flood on rivers from Nghe An to Quang Tri.
Central Highlands and Southern Region
From September 21 to 23, the Central Highlands and the South will have scattered showers and thunderstorms; in the afternoon and evening, there will be scattered showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rain in some places.
From September 24 to 27, sunny days, showers and thunderstorms in some places in the late afternoon and night.
Thunderstorms may produce tornadoes, hail and strong gusts of wind.
Water levels of rivers in the Central Highlands region fluctuate.
The water level at the headwaters of the Mekong River rises rapidly in the first 2-3 days, then changes slowly.
Oceanographic situation assessment
From September 21 to 24, waves in the sea area from Binh Dinh to Binh Thuan, the North and Central East Sea (including Hoang Sa archipelago) will remain, wave height in these areas will fluctuate between 2 - 4m.
On September 21, in the Ca Mau - Kien Giang area and the Gulf of Thailand, wave heights ranged from 1.5 - 3m, then rapidly decreased to below 2m. In the Gulf of Tonkin from noon on September 22, wave heights tended to increase gradually, ranging from 2 - 3.5m. The sea was rough. From September 25, wave heights decreased to below 2m across all sea areas.
The Meteorological Agency issued a high tide warning for the Southeast coastal area. The high tide in the South ended on September 24.
