Recently, the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of the Ministry of Public Security coordinated with the Office of the Investigation Police Agency of An Giang Province and local authorities to organize a handover ceremony of 10 gratitude houses to households in especially difficult circumstances in Vinh Binh Commune, An Giang Province.
The activity aims to respond to the emulation movement "Joining hands to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses nationwide in 2025" launched by the Prime Minister.
Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Tran Van Toan - Deputy Chief of Office of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency emphasized: "Each house today is not only a shelter from the rain and sun, but also a sharing and companionship of the People's Public Security force with the people on the journey to escape poverty, building a prosperous and happy life. We hope that, from this platform, people will continue to strive to work and produce, stabilize their family economy, and contribute to building an increasingly rich and beautiful homeland.
On behalf of the local government, Comrade Vo Thanh Xuan - Standing Deputy Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Vinh Binh Commune expressed: "Today's gratitude houses are a testament to the close relationship between the police force, businesses and people. This is a great source of encouragement to help households feel confident and overcome difficulties. Local authorities will continue to accompany and support people to stabilize their lives and develop the economy".
Mr. Vo Thanh Tam - 1 of 10 households receiving the house - shared: "My family and I are very grateful for the attention of the police force and the sponsor. Previously, my family lived in a dilapidated house, making it difficult to live in. Now that we have a spacious house, we will try to do business, so as not to let go of the kindness that everyone has given us.
The new houses are built solidly, meeting essential living conditions, not only helping households stabilize their housing and feel secure in their labor and production, but also deeply demonstrating the spirit of mutual love and social responsibility of the People's Public Security force towards the community. This is a practical work, contributing to strengthening the solidarity between the police force and the people, together towards the goal of sustainable poverty reduction.
Also on this occasion, the Office of the Ministry of Public Security's Investigation Police Agency and VNG Group Joint Stock Company presented 50 gifts to disadvantaged households in the area, adding confidence and motivation for them to rise up in life.
