Police help man get back 35 million VND due to mistaken transfer

Dak Lak - A man was supported by the police to receive 35 million VND back after transferring the money by mistake.

On December 1, Ea Drong Commune Police (Dak Lak) said that the unit had just verified and supported the return of 35 million VND to Mr. Nguyen Quoc Dung, the amount of money he had mistakenly transferred to the account of a local resident.

Specifically, on November 26, Ea Drong Commune Police received a request for coordination from the Office of the Investigation Police Agency - Bac Ninh Provincial Police, regarding Mr. Dung's negligence in transferring 35 million VND to an account under the name of Ms. P.N.Q.

After receiving the information, Ea Drong Commune Police quickly verified and determined that around June 2025, Ms. Q had received this amount. Ms. Q then voluntarily returned the entire amount to Mr. Dung.

On November 27, Ea Drong Commune Police coordinated with Bac Ninh Provincial Police and Ms. Q to return the money to Mr. Dung.

After receiving the money back, Mr. Dung expressed his emotion and gratitude for the quick, dedicated and responsible working spirit of the authorities.
