On December 16, Hue City Police organized a fund-raising ceremony to support the construction of houses for two households whose houses collapsed due to floods in Khe Tre commune.
Implementing the plan of the Ministry of Public Security and the People's Committee of Hue City within the framework of the "Quang Trung Campaign", Hue City Police have chaired the construction of two new houses for Ms. Nguyen Thi Hiep's household and Mr. Nguyen Van Luong's household. On this occasion, each household was supported with 150 million VND from voluntary contributions from officers and soldiers of Hue City Police.
Immediately after starting construction on December 6, Khe Tre Commune Police force coordinated with local authorities, construction units and families to participate in transporting materials, leveling foundations, and erecting foundations, contributing to speeding up construction progress.
Up to now, the foundation of the two houses has been completed and the next items are being constructed according to the design. It is expected that the project will be completed and handed over before January 20, 2026, helping households soon stabilize their lives and celebrate Tet in new, safe and solid houses.
