On February 6, information from the Road Traffic Police Team No. 2 under the Traffic Police Department of Nghe An Province Police said that the unit promptly helped a kindergarten teacher who was in difficulty on her way home.
At around 2am, the traffic police team discovered a woman standing next to a motorbike at km52+300 of National Highway 7, in Khai Son commune, Anh Son district, Nghe An province.
The woman was identified as Ms. Thuy (born in 1988, from Thach Ha district, Ha Tinh province), a teacher at Na Ngoi Kindergarten, Ky Son district (Nghe An).
She said she was on her way home to attend her sister’s wedding after finishing her work at school. Since there was no bus that fit her schedule, she drove her motorbike nearly 250km home.
However, when reaching km52+300, Ms. Thuy's motorbike ran out of gas. At that time, the road was deserted, with no one passing by, so she could only wait for dawn to find help.
Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Anh Tuan, Captain of Traffic Police Team No. 2, said the task force siphoned gasoline from the patrol car to refuel Ms. Thuy’s motorbike. They also helped her tie her luggage for safer travel.
After receiving the support, Ms. Thuy was moved and expressed her deep gratitude.
The kindergarten teacher also asked permission from the traffic police officers to write a thank you message on her personal page.
