After more than 10 years of working in mass mobilization, Ms. Mai Thi Xanh (born in 1963) is currently the Party Cell Secretary, Head of the Front Work Committee, Head of the Women's Union of Sai Khe village, Quoc Oai commune.
Starting a mass mobilization work since 2013, Ms. Xanh said that she has participated in many activities such as mobilizing and persuading people when they need site clearance; implementing guidelines, directives, and policies of the Party and State; preserving a green - clean - beautiful environment in the locality...
The work does not take time but requires patience, skill and above all, a heart for the community. This is both my work and my responsibility to the people. I do not care about rewards or recognition but want to make the lives of people better and better," said Ms. Xanh.
Responding to the movement "All people unite to build new rural areas", Ms. Mai Thi Xanh is not only the leader but also mobilizes everyone to join hands. In 2025, she and members of the Women's Union in the locality will eliminate the garbage collection point at Hoa Phat pagoda into a model flower garden; directly go to each household to propagate and mobilize donors and people to donate 20 million VND to pour concrete and plant 5 flower beds to create a green, clean and beautiful space.

Ms. Xanh shared: "Environmental work, building works for green - clean - beautiful localities is a necessary task. Not only working on Saturdays and Sundays, but every time I see littering, I discuss with my sisters a plan to clean up immediately. A clean environment will improve people's spiritual life".
To effectively carry out mass mobilization work in the locality, Ms. Xanh is always ready to listen and respect the opinions of the people. According to her: "People working in mass mobilization must first of all be meticulous in all aspects from daily communication to practical activities such as cleaning, sweeping the road, donating... if we are pioneers in doing it first, people will see, trust and follow".
Taking on many roles at the same time, Mrs. Mai Thi Xanh is lucky to have unconditional help and support from her family; her husband and children always accompany and support both mentally and materially. "The children told me that they will always support me, as long as I am happy, healthy and especially complete the assigned tasks well," Ms. Xanh said.
Sharing about the difficulties in current work, in the face of increasingly high requirements of work, especially in the context of changing the two-level government model and promoting digital transformation, Ms. Xanh could not hide her concerns.
"There were times when I felt like I could not take on the job. I am not afraid of difficulties, but I am afraid that my qualifications, health and age will not be able to meet the current tasks well," said Ms. Xanh.
Not only devoted to mass mobilization work, Ms. Mai Thi Xanh also actively participates in charity activities. In 2021, during the COVID-19 pandemic, she and the Village Front Working Committee launched and sent letters of appeal to cadres, Party members and people to donate 120 million VND; she personally participated in supporting 120 meals for checkpoints and health stations.
With her persistent and practical contributions to the development of the locality, in 2020, Ms. Mai Thi Xanh was awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Central Committee for Mass Mobilization for her achievements in the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" in the period of 2015-2020. She continued to be awarded a Certificate of Merit by the Chairman of the City People's Committee for her outstanding achievements in various fields, contributing to the construction and development of the Capital in 2025.
