That is the story of Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam (residing in Hoa Lu ward, Ninh Binh province), in the early days of March 2026, while driving a 3-wheeled vehicle selling coffee on some streets in Hoa Lu ward. Mr. Nam unfortunately collided with a car and he had to spend a sum of money to compensate the car owner.
His story was then shared on Facebook and became known to many people. Everyone joined hands to help him with 15 million VND to overcome the consequences and overcome difficulties.
At this time, seeing many people continue to support more to hope he would stabilize his life. But then, he thanked, shared about his life and asked permission not to receive any more help from everyone.
Of the 15 million VND received from everyone, he only kept 5 million VND for work, and for the remaining 10 million VND, he proactively contacted the Social Work Department, Ninh Binh Provincial General Hospital to send it to patients in more difficult circumstances than him and who are being treated at the Hospital.
Talking to PV, Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam confided that this is just a small job, his circumstances and illness are less hard and difficult than many people.
“Everyone has shown kindness to me, I just want to share it with those who are more difficult and are fighting illness. I hope they have more motivation to overcome difficulties” - Mr. Nam shared.
On March 9, Ninh Binh Provincial General Hospital said that the Social Work Department of the Hospital had coordinated with Mr. Nguyen Hoang Nam to give 10 million VND to patients in difficult circumstances being treated at the Hospital.
