Quang Tri - Picking up 14 million VND on the way to the market, a woman in Truong Phu commune brought the money to the police to find the person who lost it.

On August 11, Truong Phu Commune Police (Quang Tri province) said that they had completed verification and returned 14 million VND to the person who lost it.

Previously, on the way from home to Chau Xa afternoon market, Truong Phu commune, Ms. Phan Thi Lua (born in 1981, residing in Chau Le village, Truong Phu commune) picked up 14 million VND in cash.

After picking up the above amount of money, Ms. Lua took it all to Truong Phu Commune Police to report and hand it over to find the person who lost it.

Receiving the property, Truong Phu Commune Police proceeded to verify and at the same time announced the search for the owner.

After that, Mr. Nguyen Van Duc (born 1978, residing in Chau Le village, Truong Phu commune) went to the commune police to report the loss of the above amount of money.

Through verification and comparison of related information, Truong Phu Commune Police determined that Mr. Nguyen Van Duc is the legal owner and has fully returned 14 million VND.

According to Truong Phu Commune Police, Ms. Phan Thi Lua's proactive handover of the collected money to find the lost person contributed to spreading good deeds in the community.
