On November 18, Dong Hoi Ward Police (Quang Tri Province) said that they had just received and handed over 150 million VND from the people who were missing.
Previously, on the afternoon of November 17, while traveling on To Huu Street, Ms. Le Thi To Loan (born in 1987, residing in TDP 9 Nam Ly, Dong Hoi Ward) discovered a blue plastic bag lying in the middle of the road. Checking inside, she found 150 million VND in cash and a citizen identification card.
Determining that this was a large amount of property, the person who dropped it may be very worried, Ms. Loan brought the entire bag of property to Dong Hoi Ward Police to report, requesting support to verify the owner.
Upon receiving the information, Dong Hoi Ward Police quickly identified the owner as Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung (born in 1978, residing in Duc Thuy Residential Area, Dong Hoi Ward). Mr. Hung was invited to the headquarters to receive the property.
Here, Ms. Loan returned the entire amount and documents in full under the witness of the ward police on duty.
After receiving the property back, Mr. Hung emotionally sent his thanks to Ms. Loan and the police force.
