Lam Dong - Picking up nearly 30 million VND in an ATM tray, a man quickly brought it to the police station to hand it over to find and return it to its owner.

On May 16, Bao Loc Ward 1 Police (Lam Dong) said that they had just coordinated with Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung (36 years old, residing in Ward 2 Bao Loc) to return the amount of 29.2 million VND to Mr. Nguyen Tien Loi (32 years old, residing in Ward 2 Bao Loc).

Previously, Mr. Hung went to the ATM of Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade - Bao Loc Branch located in Ward 1, Bao Loc to withdraw money and discovered the amount of 29.2 million VND in the money tray.

After picking up the money, Mr. Hung quickly went to Bao Loc Ward 1 Police to report, asking for help in finding and returning the money to its owner.

After 2 days of coordinating verification, functional agencies determined that the above amount belonged to Mr. Nguyen Tien Loi.

According to Mr. Loi's presentation, before that he went to the ATM to carry out a transaction to deposit money into a bank account.

However, during the transaction, an error occurred causing the money to be stuck in the tray and not yet transferred to the account.

Receiving the property back, Mr. Loi thanked Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung and officers of Bao Loc Ward 1 Police for helping him get back the lost money.

According to Bao Loc Ward 1 Police, Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung currently works at the Public Administrative Service Center of Bao Loc Ward 3 People's Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hung's honest and responsible actions are considered a beautiful image, contributing to spreading the positive values of officials, civil servants and workers in the community.
