On October 10, Tan Thanh Commune Police (Moc Hoa District, Long An Province) verified and returned more than 12 million VND to the person who lost it.
Previously, on October 8, Ms. Nguyen Thi Tham (32 years old, residing in Ca Da hamlet, Tan Thanh commune, Moc Hoa district) was walking on the road next to the canal of Ca Da hamlet, Tan Thanh commune when she picked up a black leather wallet. Checking inside, she found some personal documents and 12 million 20 thousand VND in cash.
After picking up the property, Ms. Tham brought it to Tan Thanh Commune Police to find and return it to the person who lost it.
Tan Thanh Commune Police quickly verified and identified the person who dropped the property as Mr. Tran Hoai Sinh (42 years old, residing in Hamlet 6, Tan Lap Commune, Moc Hoa District, Long An Province).
After Tan Thanh Commune Police completed the procedures and clearly identified the owner, at the police headquarters, Ms. Tham directly handed over the wallet and the money she found to Mr. Sinh.
Mr. Sinh said that before that, he drove his motorbike through the canal of Ca Da Hamlet, Tan Thanh Commune. After returning home, he discovered that the wallet he was carrying was missing, but could not find it. He thought he had lost a considerable amount of money, but unexpectedly received information from the police that someone had picked up the wallet and the money. He was very excited and grateful for Ms. Tham's kindness and good deeds.
