Da Nang - While traffic is paralyzed, "0 VND" trucks and passenger cars have become a means of rescue, helping people and goods overcome flooded areas.

On October 30, on National Highway 1A and DT605 through Hoa Tien Commune and Hoa Xuan Ward, there were many deeply flooded spots, making it impossible for people, motorbikes and low-chassis private cars to move.

Flooded areas at the intersection of DT605 - National Highway 1A and the section of DT605 in front of Le Trach market (Hoa Tien commune) have been issued warning ropes. Many locations were flooded about 0.5m deep, with strong water, making it impossible for people to travel safely. At the scene, the authorities were on duty to coordinate traffic and warn people about flooded areas.

Many people and units proactively use trucks, passenger cars, and pickup trucks to help people pass through flooded areas for free.

After a long trip, Ms. Vo Thi Cuc could not help but worry when hearing that her house in Thach Bo village (Hoa Tien commune) was in water. Her family plans to take a taxi along DT605 road to temporarily take shelter at a relative's house in Duong Son village (Hoa Xuan ward).

However, the low-chassis taxi could not move through the deep flooded area. In that situation, Ms. Cuc was taken by a passenger car with license plate 43B-089.17 from the Da Nang Automobile and Motorcycle Driving Training Center to cross the flooded point for free.

Present at the food receiving point for people of the Defense Command of Region 1 - Cam Le at the beginning of DT605, Mr. Nguyen Dung proactively used a truck to transfer people and vehicles and goods for free through flooded areas.

Mr. Dung said that his family in La Bong village (Hoa Tien commune) - is also an area affected by flooding due to heavy rain. However, in the face of natural disasters, he is ready to support people to travel safely.

Trains to transfer people and units supplying food and necessities through flooded areas for free are expected to continue until the water recedes.
