    Ha Tinh - At noon on January 9, the Youth Union and Women's Union of Huong Son District Police cooked and distributed 300 congee portions to poor patients.

    Congee portions are distributed free of charge to poor patients being treated at Huong Son District Medical Center.

    Funds for cooking congee were donated by officers and soldiers of Huong Son district police during the flag-raising ceremony in early January, organized by the district police youth union.

    Officers and soldiers of Huong Son District Police directly participated in preparing, selecting ingredients, cooking and distributing congee to patients.

    For patients with poor health and unable to walk, youth union members bring congee to the patient's bedside with sincere words of concern and encouragement.

    At the program, the Youth Union and Women's Union of Huong Son District Police also presented 8 gifts, each worth 300,000 VND, to poor patients with difficult circumstances, receiving long-term treatment at Huong Son District Medical Center.

    In the coming time, the Youth Union and Women's Union of Huong Son District Police will continue to mobilize more contributions to carry out this meaningful activity more regularly.
