On December 16, authorized by the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense, the delegation of Song Thu Corporation (Department of Defense Industry) led by Colonel Trinh Minh Hai - Deputy General Director of Song Thu Corporation, visited, encouraged and presented gifts to support policy families, poor households and people who suffered heavy losses due to floods in Hue City.
In Hue City, the delegation directly visited and presented gifts to people in Chan May - Lang Co, Phu Loc communes and Thuy Xuan ward; and presented 1,000 gifts from the Central Military Commission - Ministry of National Defense to the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hue City, with a total value of 750 million VND. On this occasion, the delegation also visited and presented gifts to children at SOS Children's Village Hue.
The activity demonstrates the spirit of mutual love and support, contributing to strengthening the relationship of solidarity between the army and the people, supporting people to soon stabilize their lives after floods.
According to the plan, on December 17, the working group will continue to present 1,300 gifts to people affected by floods in Ha Tinh province.
