When train SE20 stopped at Ninh Binh station, the train crew discovered and returned to passengers more than 2,000 USD and many important papers that had been forgotten.
At about 9:07 am on January 23, during the process of train SE20 stopping to pick up passengers at Ninh Binh station, carriage number 2 staff Luong Minh Tam discovered a blue handbag left behind on the train. Immediately after that, the incident was reported to train chief Cao Hung Nam for handling according to regulations.
Train SE20 conducted an inspection and made a record in the presence of passengers on board. Through inspection, in the bag there were 2,150 USD, nearly 1 million VND in cash and many important papers such as passports and ID cards.
After verification, the train crew proactively contacted passengers to inform them about the discovery of forgotten property. The female passenger said she was very surprised and happy that all property had been safely preserved.
It is expected that on the same evening, when train SE19 arrives at Ninh Binh station, the train crew will proceed to return all assets to passengers according to the correct procedure.
The above actions contribute to spreading the beautiful image of Vietnam Railways workers - honest, responsible and dedicated in serving passengers, thereby strengthening people's trust in railway transport services.
