The incident occurred on the SE4 train departs from Saigon Station to Hanoi on May 22, served by the Phuong Nam Railway Staff. The passenger was Ms. Pham Thi Ngoang (born in 1978, from Hoang Xa village, Phu Tuc commune, Phu Xuyen district, Hanoi).
According to Ms. Nghiem, she went to Ho Chi Minh City to visit relatives and borrowed money to treat her husband who was suffering from a serious illness. However, when she arrived, she could not contact relatives, did not have money for living and bought a ticket to return home, and fell into a deadlock. Despite her despair, she tried to avoid getting a ticket to the train.
When the incident was discovered, the head of the train Tran Van Tri and the flight attendant did not handle it as prescribed but learned the situation of passengers. After verification, the ship decided to donate internally to buy tickets for her threshold. The train team also takes care of the entire meal throughout the journey and supports the cost of taking her from Hanoi Railway Station.

In the handwritten thank you letter, Ms. Nghiem expressed her deep emotion and gratitude to the SE4 ship group.
Speaking to Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Vietnam Railway Corporation said that the gesture of the SE4 train group demonstrates the spirit of serving passengers, a testament to the motto "Train is home, passengers are relatives" that the Railway industry is aiming for. This action also spreads the spirit of mutual love and a culture of humane behavior in a specific profession.
Vietnam Railway Corporation has recognized and commended the service spirit of Ship Leader Tran Van Tri and the SE4 train attendance team.
