According to initial information, at about 7:40 pm on May 28, people exercising in the area of the Nguyen Van Linh - Nguyen Viet Xuan intersection heard a strange noise coming from an abandoned well.
When they came to check, everyone discovered the cries for help of a woman in the well, so they quickly reported to the authorities.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire and Rescue Police Department mobilized forces and vehicles to coordinate with Hoi Phu Ward Police to deploy emergency rescue.

At the scene, the well was nearly 30 m deep, with more than 1 m of water underneath. Officers and soldiers quickly approached the bottom of the well, provided oxygen, calmed down the victim and used specialized equipment to bring the victim to the surface safely.
The victim's identity was identified as Ms. Huynh Thi Ut (50 years old, residing in Hoi Phu ward). At about 2 pm on the same day, while picking up scrap metal, Ms. Ut unfortunately stepped on the glass covering the mouth of the well and fell down, but no one discovered it.
After being rescued, Ms. Ut was taken to Gia Lai General Hospital for emergency treatment in a conscious state but with many bruises on her body.
Ms. Ut emotionally said that when trapped under the deep well in the dark and soaked in water for many hours, she was very panicked, fortunately discovered by people and reported to functional forces to be rescued in time.
