On November 12, Mr. Tong Giang Nam - Chairman of the People's Committee of Da Teh district, Lam Dong province, said that the unit has decided to approve and allocate funds to repair 8 works serving the merger of 3 districts into 1 new district named Da Huoai.
3 districts in Lam Dong will be merged including: Da Teh, Da Huoai and Cat Tien districts. After merging, the 3 districts will form a new district and will take the common name of Da Huoai district.
Regarding this, the People's Committee of Da Teh district has allocated nearly 4 billion VND to repair the headquarters of the Da Teh district Party Committee, the Da Teh district Political Center, the headquarters of the old Huong Lam commune People's Committee (under the People's Committee of Da Lay commune), and the headquarters of the old Ha Dong commune People's Committee (under the People's Committee of My Duc commune).
Repairing the old Radio Station headquarters, the District Vocational Education and Continuing Education Center, Da Teh Town Kindergarten and the District Culture, Sports and Information Center headquarters.
As planned, immediately after the Provincial Party Standing Committee announces the decisions and appoints the Party Executive Committee, the District Party Standing Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Da Huoai District Party Committee for the 2020-2025 term, the new Da Huoai district will organize a session of the District People's Council to elect government leadership positions according to its authority.
The Provincial People's Council approved the election results of the positions of the People's Council of Da Huoai district, term XI, 2021 - 2026.
Organize the election of the positions of Chairman, Vice Chairman, and Member of the People's Committee of Da Huoai district.
Approving the Resolution to establish 12 specialized agencies under the People's Committee of the new Da Huoai district, including the departments of: Home Affairs, Justice, Finance - Planning, Economy and Infrastructure, Natural Resources and Environment, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs.
The new Da Huoai district will also merge other public service units including: Medical Center; Cultural - Information and Sports Center; Agricultural Center; Management Board of Construction Investment Projects and Public Works;
The Center for Vocational Education - Continuing Education has the same functions and tasks as the People's Committee of Cat Tien district, the People's Committee of Da Teh district and the People's Committee of Da Huoai district.
The above work is expected to be completed before December 5.
