Nghe An Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 30/QD-UBND on the second land allocation to the Joint Venture of Tri Duong Development Investment Joint Stock Company and Ecopark Hai Duong Investment Joint Stock Company to continue implementing the Vinh Riverside Urban Area Project in Vinh Tan Ward, Vinh City.
According to the decision, the total land area allocated in this period is 54,497.1 m2. Of which, 14,219.6 m2 is urban land used to build social housing according to the planning, allocated by the State with exemption from land use fees, with a term of use of 50 years.
The remaining area of 40,277.5 m2 is land serving non-business technical infrastructure and social infrastructure, including items such as: traffic land (14.319 8.8 m2), public recreation area and community activities (23.984.8 m2), waste treatment works (66.5 m2) and river water surface (1.,906.4 m2). The entire area will be handed over to the Vinh City People's Committee after construction is completed according to the plan.
The land allocation is not through auction of land use rights or bidding to select investors. The location and boundaries of the land have been determined on the cadastral map approved on February 12, 2025.
The Vinh Riverside Urban Area Project has a total investment of about 1,440 billion VND, with a scale of more than 20 hectares, and an estimated population of 1,600 - 1,800 people. Previously, in November 2024, Nghe An province handed over the first phase with an area of 14.4 hectares to the investor consortium.
Nghe An Provincial People's Committee assigns relevant departments, branches and local authorities to fully fulfill their responsibilities: from determining land prices, granting Land Use Rights Certificates, updating cadastral data, to guiding the implementation of financial obligations and handing over land on site.
The province also requires investors to strictly fulfill financial obligations, use land for the right purposes, areas and boundary markers assigned, and fully comply with regulations on investment, construction, land, and environmental protection.
The provincial leaders expect that the project, once completed, will not only improve urban infrastructure for Vinh City but also create a landscape highlight, contribute to attracting investment, promoting socio-economic development and improving the quality of life of the people.
