In the joyful atmosphere of celebrating the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and China, this is considered an opportunity for the cultural groups of the two countries to look back on the journey of exchanging and spreading Chinese literature in Vietnam over the past decade; at the same time, to enhance understanding of the literature - culture and friendship between the two countries.
At the event, writer Luu Chan Van expressed her wish to have more Vietnamese - Chinese literary exchanges for both sides to understand; at the same time, emphasized the importance of the translator community to contribute to helping the flow of literature between the two countries to circulate.

On this occasion, members of the Writers and Critics Association had a dialogue with writer Liu Chan Van about life, creative inspiration... Among the contemporary Chinese literary authors, Liu Chan Van is probably the one behind Mac Ngon - the winner of the 2012 Nobel Prize for Literature for her influence on Vietnamese readers.
In most of the answers, the writer focuses on the relationship between life, literature and philosophy with the concept: "The end of literature is philosophy".
That is the reason why the characters in Liu Chan Van's works have a close life to the Vietnamese community and cross many other borders.

Writer Luu Chan Van is famous for the novels "I am Luu Nhay Vot", "A Cach Vay"... This event marks the second time writer Luu Chan Van has come to Vietnam. On the afternoon of October 31, the writer continued to meet with readers in Ho Chi Minh City.
His work "Tower of the Street" won the National Short Story Award (1987-1988), while "A Struggle for a Thousand Fish" won the 8th Mao Thuan Literature Award. In 2018, he was awarded the French Ministry of Culture the Order of Literature and Arts of the French Republic.
