On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), Kim Dong Publishing House launched a special publishing series by author Mai Chi called "Chung mot nha - Atlas 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam".
The book aims to arouse interest for readers to learn about diverse cultures as well as the rich spiritual life of the 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam, is a valuable spiritual luggage, helping young Vietnamese people firmly preserve their identity, nurture the love of their homeland and step out into the world with the mindset of being proud to be Vietnamese people.
With "A common house - Atlas 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam", readers have the opportunity to visit and feel the unique and distinctive nuances of the 54 ethnic groups of Vietnam expressed in each village, house, dish, festival; together look at traditional costumes with unique patterns, or better understand the customs and practices of each ethnic group that have been preserved; passed down from thousands of generations.
All are conveyed through distilled, accurate information, expressed through close, colorful images, leading you on the journey to the origin.

Each page of the book will leave readers amazed by the diverse and rich cultural and spiritual life of the Vietnamese extended family. From special markets of ethnic groups such as: H'Mong ethnic group, Dao with Bac Ha market; Kinh ethnic group with floating market in the Southwest, coastal market in the Central region.

On this occasion, Kim Dong Publishing House also organized a book launch exchange program with the theme "Young people and Vietnamese identity" at 9:00 a.m. on August 23 at Ho Chi Minh City Book Street.
