According to the draft Resolution regulating the support level for cadres, civil servants and public employees developed by the Lam Dong Department of Finance - it is proposed to support the rental of accommodation of 2 million VND/person/month for workers working in Lam Dong province.
The Department of Finance of Binh Thuan province proposed to study support in the form of 3 million VND/person/month, which is an increase of 1 million VND/person/month.
People who need to rent a private house because they have relatives accompanying them cannot stay in a public house. Rental prices in Da Lat are quite high, so support is needed to stabilize in the beginning.
With the current salary of cadres and civil servants, if there is no support for house rental, it will be very difficult. Therefore, the proposal to increase to 3 million VND/person/month is in line with local reality.
Regarding housing, there are currently more than 2,000 cadres, civil servants and public employees of Gia Lai who need to register to buy social housing in Binh Dinh. This is also a legitimate need, especially for those who bring them with their families and children, who need to have a private place to live, cannot live in public housing.
In addition to stable housing, many people have children who are students, when moving to a new place, they need to have a school so as not to interrupt their studies. Students attending public schools admitted to public schools and specialized schools will be admitted to specialized schools in new locations to ensure fairness.
Our ancestors taught us that "set up a business", so supporting cadres and civil servants to have stable housing is very necessary.
Gia Lai province also proposed a one-time support of VND23 million/person, equivalent to about 10 months of basic salary (VND2.34 million/month). This support section helps officials and civil servants purchase household items such as: beds, cabinets, kitchens, pots, pans and household items, personal activities... when moving to work at the new administrative center after the arrangement.
There are many merged localities, each locality has proposed support for cadres and civil servants to move to new workplaces with good working and living conditions.
However, it is necessary to calculate support items to save the budget.
Speaking at the discussion session on socio-economics on the afternoon of June 17, Minister Pham Thi Thanh Tra said that we need to contribute and accept this sacrifice, we cannot have demands that are beyond the capacity and conditions of the country at present.
