To have talented people, one must focus on education, in which, in addition to the educational strategy, there is also a great effort from the teacher.
Nowadays, to have a team of talented and virtuous intellectuals who can contribute to the national affairs, it is even more necessary to have an educational strategy and a national education system that can match the standards of the most advanced countries in the world. For that reason, speaking at the meeting between General Secretary To Lam and representatives of teachers and education managers on the occasion of Vietnamese Teachers' Day, November 20, which took place on November 18, Minister of Education and Training Nguyen Kim Son stated:
"Innovating education requires changing old habits, ways of thinking, ways of thinking and doing, overcoming limits to develop breakthroughs. If education wants to overcome challenges, the education sector, especially the team of teachers, needs to make great efforts and be constantly creative, only correct and accurate solutions can be implemented."
Humanity has reached new peaks in science with intellectual products that change the world, Vietnam also has the ambition to create "Make in Vietnam" products to participate in the global value chain. To achieve scientific goals, it is necessary to build a solid and stable educational foundation. In which the most fundamental, or more accurately, the soul of education is the teacher.
Minister Nguyen Kim Son raised the issue very correctly when he demanded that "the team of teachers need to make great efforts and be constantly creative". We must abandon old thinking, move beyond conservative things to create new things, only then can we train talented people for the future.
However, teachers cannot be creative on an outdated curriculum framework, so it is up to policymakers to make comprehensive changes and innovate with a progressive educational design.
Finally, for teachers to be passionate about their profession and wholeheartedly "care for nurturing and training talents", they themselves must be taken care of. Currently, teachers' lives have improved, but still not enough.
