In fact, for many reasons, including financial ones, for many years now, many workers far from home have not had the opportunity to return home for Tet. With the “Union Train 2025”, the organization’s timely attention has helped them to erase their financial worries, realizing the promise “this year I will return” to the families of many union members and workers, which had been unfinished for many years.
This is also the way the Union demonstrates its practical caring role - always putting the needs and aspirations of workers at the center. In particular, the happiness of workers from the "Union Trains" is also the joy and motivation for union officials at all levels.
Seeing the union members happily boarding the train, excitedly preparing to return home, the union officials were even more proud because their efforts to mobilize and connect were rewarded with smiles and tears of happiness. Those were the moments when union members clearly felt the great significance of the work they were pursuing.
The joy of reunion of workers, when meeting their families again after many years apart, is also a priceless reward for the union staff - so that they continue to strive and make more efforts in their mission of caring.
The greatest human value of the “Union Train”, or previously the “Union Bus”, lies not only in the thousands of workers supported, but also in the way it connects hearts far from home with their families.
As the train rolled on the tracks, people at work were excited, people at home were waiting, and then the moment of meeting brought with it a burst of emotions. That warm reunion scene demonstrated the spirit of “no one is left behind” - a core motto for unions at all levels to continue to improve workers’ welfare.
There is nothing more practical than giving union members and workers the opportunity to reunite at the most sacred moment of the year. And it is these moments of reunion that will add strength, help union members and workers have more confidence in the future, and at the same time spread the humanistic philosophy of the Trade Union organization to every corner of society.
