Winning the lawsuit against Le Trung Khoa, Vingroup not only protects its own reputation

Lê Thanh Phong |

The German court declared Vingroup/VinFast victorious in the lawsuit against Mr. Le Trung Khoa, who had slandered the group for giving bribes and called it ghost.

The emergency trial will take place in Berlin, Germany, on November 4, 2025.

Mr. Le Trung Khoa, editor of Thoibao.de, was banned by the court from posting or allowing him to post content related to the statement "VinFast bribes journalists" on his personal page or information pages managed by him.

If he repeats the offense, Mr. Khoa will be administratively fined up to 250,000 euros for each violation, or sentenced to imprisonment from 6 months to 2 years.

Mr. Le Trung Khoa once stated that "Vingroup is mafia" and "Vingroup/VinFast has given bribes". However, during the trial, Mr. Khoa and the lawyer did not provide any evidence to prove that the above statements were true.

Without evidence to prove the information he gave, Mr. Le Trung Khoa was convinced by the court's defeat in the lawsuit.

The civilized world has no place for slander and defamation of individuals and organizations. The law in any country is for the purpose of protecting the legitimate rights and interests of human beings.

Vingroup is a large private economic group in Vietnam, slanderous and untrue information will damage the brand reputation and negatively impact the production and business activities of enterprises.

Therefore, despite geographical geographical separation, Vingroup still demands fairness in a public trial, for the whole world to know.

Many Vietnamese entrepreneurs and enterprises not only operate domestically but also invest in production and business in many countries, of which Vingroup is a big name.

An internationally influential corporation such as Vingroup being slandered for "giving bribes" and "gathering" will affect the overall reputation of Vietnamese enterprises.

Therefore, by winning this lawsuit, Vingroup not only protects the reputation of the group, but also the Vietnamese business community.

Currently, in cyberspace, many people take advantage of cross-border platforms to attack individuals, businesses, and organizations. Speaking the wrong thing, slandering, distorting, and bullying are common things.

It is worth mentioning that most victims of social media attacks accept losses, few cases file lawsuits, choose to appear in court to prove the truth and protect themselves.

Faced with the slander and defamation of Mr. Le Trung Khoa, Vingroup chose a civilized solution: to go to court and won the lawsuit.

This lawsuit will be a precedent for individuals, organizations, especially businesses that know how to protect themselves when attacked by fake news and other forms of deliberate defamation.

The search for justice is not only limited to the country, but throughout the world. Where there is a legal civilization, there will be answers to the truth.
