Looking at key construction sites, it is clear that the working spirit of the Vietnamese people is being demonstrated at the highest level. It is the workers who clearly understand their responsibility towards the project of national significance.
In Lao Cai, where the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line is about to start construction, Major Le Thanh Dat - Commander of the construction site of Truong Son Construction Corporation - briefly said: "If we are given more clean land, we will open more construction teams to make up for the flood time". The saying seems very simple, but behind that is hundreds of hours of working all night, sleeping on the edge of the construction site of the construction teams.
Or at other construction sites, workers say to each other "every hour". That "every hour" is not the way to speak documents or slogan, but the reality when workers are constantly divided into 3 shifts, 4 teams, regardless of rain or wind to open the road on time.
Workers are playing a decisive role not only for the project itself, but for the reputation of the entire political system in an event of special political significance. Official Dispatch No. 235/CD-TTg has requested all ministries, branches and localities to "not be late by a day", fully completing technical, legal and organizational conditions to ensure solemnity, safety and efficiency for the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony.
Speed is a requirement, but quality must be an unchanging principle. In urgent construction conditions, the responsibility of workers is even greater: Do not let it happen carelessly because of acceleration, do not follow the process. Do not let time pressure reduce the quality of the project. Each worker and engineer is directly contributing to protecting the reputation of the industry, the locality and the country when 232 projects are being monitored nationwide at the same time.
December 19 will not only be a ceremony but also an affirmation of the ability to organize - construct - operate large-scale infrastructure with the message of the spirit of innovation and the will to break through.
At the moment the whole country simultaneously performs the groundbreaking and inauguration ceremony, the image of workers in sweat-wearing shirts, engineers holding designs under headlights, construction teams racing in the rain and wind... will be the most beautiful image. Because they are the ones who are laying the foundation for the future of the country with each girder, each concrete block, each span of road.
National Infrastructure Festival is also a day to honor the hands and brains of Vietnamese workers.
