On September 27, the Dak Lak Provincial Department of Health said that the locality had completed the appraisal of electronic medical records. Thus, 100% of medical examination and treatment facilities in the area are eligible for implementation.
According to Mr. Pham Minh Huu - Deputy Director of the Department of Health, this is a key task, a breakthrough in management innovation, contributing to improving the quality of medical examination and treatment.
Currently, medical facilities in the province have replaced paper medical records with electronic medical records, meeting the requirements of technology infrastructure, professional processes and information security.
The application of electronic medical records helps shorten the time for processing records, increase accuracy in diagnosis, treatment and limit errors in information archiving, Mr. Huu emphasized.
In the whole province, there are currently 36 medical examination and treatment facilities, including 14 general and specialized hospitals and 22 medical centers.
These facilities have been coordinated by the Department of Health to guide, evaluate and organize appraisal in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 13/2025/TT-BYT and related guiding documents.
