Water mixed with fruits and herbs
Drinking plain water is essential to staying hydrated. Adding a few slices of fruit like lemon, cucumber, berries or fresh herbs like mint or basil to plain water adds a delicious flavor without adding calories.
Vegetable juice
Fresh vegetable juices such as tomato, cucumber, celery, or leafy greens are often low in calories and high in fiber, which helps you feel full and reduce your overall calorie intake. In addition to being easy to prepare at home, fresh vegetable juices help ensure adequate hydration and curb your appetite. In particular, these juices also boost metabolism and aid digestion, making it easy to lose weight.
Green tea
Green tea is rich in antioxidants and catechins, which help boost metabolism and burn fat, especially during exercise. It is also a calorie-free beverage (without added sugar or honey) but provides the body with energy thanks to its moderate caffeine content.
For added flavor, you can squeeze lemon juice into your green tea. This helps your body increase its vitamin C intake and absorb antioxidants more effectively.
Coconut water
Coconut water is rich in nutrients such as vitamins, minerals and amino acids. It is also low in calories and provides excellent natural electrolytes such as potassium and magnesium, making it the perfect post-workout rehydration solution. To keep the calories low, avoid adding sugar to coconut water.
Lemonade
Just squeeze half a lemon into a glass of water, and you have a low-calorie drink that is effective for weight loss and getting in shape. In addition to its delicious taste, lemon water also aids digestion, detoxifies, helps curb appetite and promotes fat burning.
Not all low-calorie drinks are created equal. Many “diet” or “low-calorie” drinks (those that are processed) contain artificial sweeteners, which can cause cravings or disrupt your metabolism. Instead, opt for natural combinations like water, herbal tea, or unsweetened lemon water for quick results.
