On October 17, the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health said that a stroke patient had received spectacular success in emergency care right in the Con Dao special zone thanks to the Stroke Unit deployed right at the Con Dao Military-Civilian Medical Center.
That was the case of patient T.V.K (34 years old), who has had a headache in the right extended sea for 2 days now. At around 7:30 a.m. on October 17, the patient suddenly fell, weak left limb, and a crooked mouth, and was taken to the Emergency Department of the Con Dao Military Medical Center.
After diagnosing what was thought to be a smokeshannic stroke in the first hour, Dr. CKI Huynh Minh Triet (Department of Cerebrovascular disease, People's Hospital 115) prescribed a CT scan of the brain. During the procedure, the patient's progress became more severe.
The results were urgently sent via the PACS system to People's Hospital 115 for consultation with experts, recording no endocrinoglycemic images and agreeing to diagnose: Myoclonal cerebral infarction in the first hour, prescribed emergency treatment for venomatherapy (rTPA).
Therefore, the doctors have implemented the treatment of hemorrhagic nhives for the patient. Right at the time of drug administration, the patient's symptoms improved significantly: alertness, good contact... At the end of drug administration, the patient improved almost completely, with only minor paralysis on the left side. Intervention for an acute cerebral infarction patient in Con Dao was a great success.
