On November 13, Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co - Director of Bach Mai Hospital - said that the Ministry of Health, ministries, branches and the Project Management Board are closely coordinating to remove difficulties, promote the progress of putting the two facilities of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Hospital, Facility 2, into operation soon.
The completion of the construction of Bach Mai Hospital, Facility 2, is targeted to be completed before November 30. Currently, the final items are being urgently completed. Relevant parties are making every effort to ensure progress, ready for handover and operation according to plan.
In addition to construction work, Bach Mai Hospital has proactively prepared high-quality human resources for the new facility. Currently, more than 600 medical staff with deep professional qualifications and many years of experience at facility 1 have registered to volunteer to transfer to facility 2.
"We have recruited and trained a team of high-quality doctors, nurses, and technicians, ensuring that when they go to facility 2, they will fully meet the professional requirements, professional ethics, and service style" - Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co shared.
In terms of facilities, the entire equipment system at Bach Mai facility 2 is a new generation, synchronous, invested according to modern hospital standards, to ensure the quality of medical examination and treatment is equivalent to - or even superior - compared to facility 1.
Associate Professor Co also affirmed: Patients coming for examination at facility 1 or facility 2 are all entitled to the same services and treatment quality. The rights of patients when receiving examination and treatment at the same facilities. We are proposing that the Government and the Ministry of Health recognize facility 2 as a hospital with deep professional and high-tech functions, completely connected to facility 1 - from data, personnel, expertise to finance. To stabilize the lives of officials, the hospital coordinated with the province to build a public housing area, and at the same time arranged safe means of transportation so that officials could "go home in the morning". The salary and bonus levels remain the same as the first basis, along with a special mechanism to encourage employees in the early stages of operation".
When facility 2 officially operates, Bach Mai Hospital expects to significantly reduce the burden on facility 1, while expanding the scale of service for people in the area south of the Northern Delta.
Facility 2 of Bach Mai Hospital has a scale of 1,000 beds, invested synchronously and modernly with full specialties equivalent to the main facility in Hanoi.
We hope that Bach Mai Hospital will become an international standard hospital system where Vietnamese people can be treated with technology and quality equivalent to that of developed countries, without having to go abroad to treat their patients, added the hospital representative.
According to the plan, Bach Mai Hospital, Facility 2, will be put into operation at the end of this year, becoming one of the first public hospitals to operate according to the model of "smart hospital - synchronous two facilities", contributing significantly to improving the quality of people's health care.
