In the context of tens of thousands of people flocking to central streets to watch the parade, health care is given top priority. Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co, Director of Bach Mai Hospital, said that the hospital has issued practical recommendations to help people protect their health and limit risks in hot, crowded weather conditions.
People may experience heatstroke, fainting due to standing for a long time, lowering blood sugar, allergies or colds when the weather changes.
East heat, hot: People should wear cool clothes, drink enough water, limit alcoholic beverages. When there are signs of dizziness, take them immediately to a cool place, apply cold compresses and call for emergency care if the condition is severe.
