Early detection of male diseases helps in effective treatment, improving quality of life and health.

Regular male medical examinations not only help check reproductive health, but are also a measure to prevent dangerous diseases such as urinary tract infections, erectile dysfunction, prostate adenoma, etc.

According to resident physician Do Van Hieu - Department of General Surgery, Hospital 199 (Ministry of Public Security in Da Nang), early detection of male diseases helps in effective treatment, improving quality of life and health. However, many people are still shy or do not recognize the signs that require medical examination.

Doctor Do Van Hieu notes that men need to see a urologist when they experience the following symptoms:

- Premature ejaculation: This is a common condition, but if it persists, it can affect your psychology and sex life.

- Erectile dysfunction: Difficulty maintaining or achieving an erection, which can be a sign of a circulatory or endocrine disorder.

- Decreased libido: A sharp decrease in sexual desire can be related to stress, fatigue or hormonal health problems.

- Pain or discomfort during sex: If you feel pain during sex or during ejaculation, this could be a sign of inflammation or damage in the reproductive system.

- Swollen or painful testicles: Pain in one or both testicles can be a sign of epididymitis, orchitis, or even a testicular tumor.

- Abnormal discharge from the penis: Yellow, white, or foul-smelling discharge can be a sign of sexually transmitted diseases (STDs).

- Systemic symptoms: Persistent fatigue, memory loss, and mood swings may be due to hormonal imbalance, especially testosterone in men.

Do not hesitate when detecting unusual signs of health. Regular health check-ups are needed to detect early signs of disease, helping to protect health and improve the quality of life for yourself and your family - the doctor added.
