Ingredient:
With onion sauce served with:
- 90ml curd
- 1 clove of garlic
- 10 grams chopped coriander
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 2 green chillies
- 10ml lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder to taste
- Oregano powder to taste
With filling and sandwich bread including:
- 2 slices of whole grain bread
- 1/2 onion, chopped
- 1/2 cucumber, grated
- 1/2 carrot, grated
- 1/2 bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 tomato, chopped
- 1 boiled egg or grilled chicken breast, chopped
- Put the curd in a thin cloth, tie it and hang it up high, leave it overnight to let the water drain out of the curd.
- Add peeled garlic cloves, chopped onion, coriander, green chillies, lemon juice, salt and red chilli powder to this curd mixture. Blend the mixture in a food processor until smooth.
- Add a little oregano powder for extra flavor.
- Finally, add the chopped bell peppers, tomatoes, grated cucumbers, carrots and eggs or chicken to the freshly made curd mixture. Spread a thick layer on one slice of whole grain bread, placing the other slice on top.
- Turn on the sandwich toaster or pan over medium heat, toasting until hot and crispy.
- Enjoy the cake while it's hot.
With this recipe, each sandwich will not contain more than 200 calories and is rich in good fat from the curd. Along with that, this dish is also rich in fiber, vitamins and carbohydrates and protein from vegetables, whole grain bread and boiled eggs or chicken.
