Feeling the muscles in your calves
Blood is pumped throughout the body by the heart, but due to the impact of force, blood can easily build up to the lower part. At this time, the calves act as a "pump" that pushes blood back into the heart, helping to maintain circulation. Therefore, calves are also known as the second heart.
When walking, the muscles in the lower body, especially the calves, work vigorously. Regular walking helps calves feel stronger, improves blood pumping ability, promotes circulation and increases metabolism.
Warm-up exercises to help walk in the correct position
Stand straight: your legs are as wide as one hand, your toes are facing forward, your arms are relaxed at both sides.
Heel Raises: Squeeze your heels, lower them 30 times.
Incline your toes: 30 times on each side, paying attention not to tilt your hips back.
Step forward - back on a straight line: Follow the ground with the front and rear heels, hold the balance, do not shake, hold the position for 30 seconds.
Walk properly to avoid joint damage
Just like when doing crunches or push-ups, you need the right technique to avoid injuries, so does walking. Each step in the right position not only helps train muscles but also protects joints and spine.
