On the afternoon of November 19, speaking with reporters, Mr. Ho Dinh Toan - Chairman of Bao Lac Commune People's Committee - confirmed the above information and said that tomorrow (November 20), the consulting unit of the Provincial People's Committee will work with the Commune People's Committee to survey some suitable construction locations, and soon start the project in December.
"With more local medical centers, people do not have to go far, many cases will be treated promptly to avoid leaving sequelae" - Mr. Toan shared.
It is known that on the same afternoon, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bang province Le Hai Hoa had a working session with the Working Group of the Department of Mass Mobilization (General Department of Politics, Ministry of National Defense) on preparing to invest in building a new Bao Lac Commune Medical Center.
At the meeting, the two sides agreed on the contents related to the scale, facilities and project implementation plan. Bao Lac Commune Medical Center is expected to be built on a minimum area of 3 hectares, with a total investment of more than 200 billion VND, with a scale of 130 beds, meeting the initial needs of medical examination and treatment and health care of the people.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Hai Hoa emphasized the importance of improving the quality of grassroots health care in remote areas. He requested the selection of a capable investor, ensuring a standard design, towards a "green" and modern hospital model.
The Provincial Investment and Construction Management Board is assigned to coordinate in completing procedures and being ready to hand over the site for the project to be implemented on schedule.
The representative of the Department of Mass Mobilization acknowledged the province's proposal and pledged to closely coordinate and strive to start the project on December 19, 2025 to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Party and the 81st anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army.
The Ministry of National Defense also plans to organize annual training and fostering for the medical team to improve the effectiveness of the center's operations after it is put into operation.
The Bao Lac Commune Medical Center project is expected to contribute to completing the grassroots health network, while demonstrating the coordination between the Ministry of National Defense of Cao Bang province in socio-economic development and caring for people's lives.
