From August 21-23, in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province, the Vietnam Urinology and Nephrology Association (VUNA) and the Ho Chi Minh City Urinology and Nephrology Association (HUNA) in collaboration with Khanh Hoa General Hospital organized an annual scientific conference (VUNAHUNA 2025).
The conference attracted more than 1,500 delegates who are professors, doctors, nurses and medical staff at home and abroad working in the field of urology, kidney medicine and related specialties.

With 54 presentations and more than 300 scientific reports, VUNAHUNA 2025 updates valuable advances and experiences in diagnosing and treating urinary and kidney diseases.
Through professional discussions and medical debates, VUNAHUNA 2025 opens an open academic forum for doctors and experts from all over the country to share and discuss new trends from theory to clinical diagnosis and practice, surgery, and internal medicine in urology and kidney medicine.
In particular, many new technology applications in medicine, aiming to improve treatment quality and improve patient life were discussed at the discussion sessions.

Within the framework of the conference, leading Vietnamese experts performed a centerline surgery at Khanh Hoa General Hospital.
Surgeries on super-small tunnel skin stone tonsils (mini-PCNL), kidney stone tonsils with soft scanning machines, prostate fibroids scraping with laser (HoLEP), renal preservation culture in cancer patients, combined with endoscopic and skin tonsils were broadcast live from 2 operating rooms to the hospital hall.
An important highlight of the conference is the intensive training course on Urinary Oncology taught directly by leading professors from the European Union of Urinary Examinations (EAU).
This is an opportunity for domestic doctors to learn, connect and discuss directly with international experts, while systematizing knowledge and updating advanced treatment trends in the world.
