The capacity to "dual inspection" with the highest level testing unit of the health sector
Based on the awareness of joining hands to protect public health, actively responding to the Government's major policy in the fight against counterfeit and poor quality goods, the Long Chau pharmacy system has proactively signed a strategic cooperation agreement with the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene - Ministry of Health to strictly test all business products in the system.

The National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene testing will periodically or suddenly collect samples and test functional foods and micronutrient-enhancing foods that the Long Chau pharmacy system is or will be doing business in, thereby certifying and assessing the quality of products on the market.
Cooperating with the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Testing is the next step in the campaign " separate country, transparent for a healthy Vietnam" that Long Chau is implementing, while responding to the Ministry of Health's direction on publicity and transparency of information on drugs and health protection foods.
Regularly take samples at pharmacies or from suppliers
The National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene testing, Ministry of Health is the highest food testing agency in the health sector. This is a unit that owns technical infrastructure, synchronous and modern equipment systems and a team of experienced and highly qualified human resources to perform food-related testing, certification, system assessment, research and training services.
According to the agreement between the two parties, the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene testing will send a specialized unit to collect samples at the pharmacy or from the supplier. After that, the Institute will apply professional expertise to test the product, or appraise the product batch according to regulations or evaluate product certification.
Associate Professor, Dr. Tran Cao Son, Deputy Director of the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Testing, shared that this is an important milestone in the cooperation between the Institute and FPT Long Chau Pharmaceutical Joint Stock Company.

Through the signing of the Cooperation Agreement, the two units affirmed their common commitment to ensuring the quality and safety of functional foods and micronutrient-enhanced foods.
The Long Chau pharmacy system with a wide presence nationwide, in addition to distributing pharmaceutical products, is also a direct distributor of functional foods and micronutrient-enhanced foods to consumers. Therefore, ensuring that products distributed at the Long Chau pharmacy system meet quality and safety requirements is extremely important.
Recently, both sides have discussed cooperation contents. The cooperation is not only limited to sample collection, periodic testing or certification activities, shipment appraisal and assessment of quality management systems according to standards such as ISO 22000 HACCP... but also includes research, training activities as well as digital transformation. These activities help both sides aim to create a reliable database system, helping to retrieve information, ensuring transparency in product quality control" - Mr. Son said.
Ms. Nguyen Bach Diep, Chairman and General Director of the Long Chau Pharmacy system, respectfully thanked the National Institute for Food Safety and Hygiene Testing - Ministry of Health.
We understand that when coming to the pharmacy, what people want most is a sense of security, so checking product quality regularly is something we find necessary and must do.
In the coming time, Long Chau will continue to improve transparency, from product origin, legal documents, to the disclosure of information on invoices as well as online platforms of the system. People can easily look up, check and give comments at any time. It is the trust of customers that motivates us to constantly improve and do better every day" - Ms. Diep said.
