Decision No. 814/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Hung Yen province stipulates the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Center for Disease Control under the Department of Health of Hung Yen province.
According to the Decision, the Center for Disease Control is a public non-business unit under the Department of Health, with the function of advising and organizing the implementation of professional, technical, and nghiệp vụ activities on epidemic and infectious disease prevention and control; non-communicable diseases; prevention and control of the impact of risk factors affecting health; community health management; medical examination, detection, preventive treatment and other medical services suitable to the professional field in the province according to the provisions of law.
The organizational structure of the Center for Disease Control under the Hung Yen Provincial Department of Health includes: The Center's leaders have a Director and no more than 2 Deputy Directors.
Functional departments under the Center have 2 departments, including: Organization - Administration Department; Planning - Finance Department.
The specialized departments of the Center have 11 departments including: Department of Infectious Disease Prevention and Control; Department of HIV/AIDS Prevention and Control; Department of Nutrition - Non-communicable Disease Prevention and Control; Department of Environmental Health - School Health; Department of Occupational Diseases; Department of Reproductive Health; Department of Communication - Health Education; Department of International Health Quarantine - Parasitology - Entomology; Department of Pharmacy - Medical Supplies; Department of Testing - Imaging - Functional Detection; Department of Medical Examination and Preventive Treatment.
