Why you should eat pizza made from millet flour

Pizza is a round-shaped cake baked with three main ingredients: crust, filling and cheese. The crust is made from flour, yeast and water, then kneaded into a round shape. The toppings of pizza are very diverse with many ingredients such as vegetables, meat, seafood, sausage combined with a layer of fragrant, fatty cheese.

Millet is considered a superfood with many health benefits. The benefits of this grain are recognized by many nutritionists around the world.

Millet is rich in vitamins, minerals, essential amino acids and fiber which helps in weight control, diabetes, polycystic ovary syndrome and thyroid problems. Using millet flour as pizza base is a great combination of nutrition and is very good for people who are losing weight.

How to make pizza with millet flour

Ingredients for pizza crust:

- 125 grams millet flour

- A pinch of salt and a little water

- A little dry millet flour

- Ghee

- Grated cheese and vegetables (quantity depends on taste)

Making:

- Take 125 grams of millet flour and knead with a little salt and water.

- Roll out the dough and use a round object or cutter to form circles. Dust the dough base with dry millet flour.

- Brush water on both sides of the cake and bake until done. Pay attention to the texture of the cake base because millet flour does not contain gluten so it can easily dry out and flake.

- Bake until desired crispness is achieved.

- Spread some ghee on the pizza crust.

- Spread pizza sauce on the crust, then arrange your favorite toppings on top and finally cover with a layer of grated cheese.

- Continue baking the pizza in a pan with ghee, covered until the ingredients are cooked.

- Eat hot to fully enjoy the delicious taste of the cake.
