On August 5, Ha Tinh General Hospital said that patient N.T.L (80 years old, residing in Thanh Sen ward, Ha Tinh province) was in a deep coma and was taken to the emergency room by his family after detecting suspicious signs of a stroke such as impaired consciousness and paralysis of the left side.
Doctor Nguyen Sy Trinh - Head of the Department of Neurology, Musculoskeletal - Ha Tinh General Hospital said that after examination, a patient was found to have a stroke and a CT scan was taken to detect a patient with a blockage of the right mediastinal artery (MCA).

Immediately, the patient underwent cerebral hemorrhage reinvention by removing thrombosis (clotting) using mechanical equipment. The results of the intervention helped the blocked cerebral blood vessels to be completely reopened. After the intervention, the patient was alert, contacted, and had improved hemiplegia.
Currently, the patient is completely tinh, the paralysis of the left side of the body is gradually recovering and being transferred to the Anti-Poison Emergency Department for further intensive treatment.
