Recently, the Department of Industry and Trade of Dien Bien has issued a peak plan to combat smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights.
Accordingly, the subjects of inspection are organizations and individuals operating in the production, trading and traditional services and in the e-commerce environment in Dien Bien province.
Focus on organizations and individuals producing and trading medicine, milk, food and health protection foods.
The peak plan will be implemented from May 22 to June 15. And throughout the period from June 16 to the end of 2025, when there are instructions from superiors, consumer feedback or recommendations and proposals from inspection team members.
The inspection contents include: Business registration/enterprise; conditions for guaranteed production and business establishments with conditions; measurement and quality of goods; price field, origin and origin of goods, product labeling, intellectual property (if any); taking samples for testing (if necessary).
Previously, implementing Directive No. 13/CT-TTg dated May 17 of the Prime Minister on strengthening the fight against smuggling, trade fraud and counterfeit goods in the new situation.
Dien Bien province quickly established a Steering Committee to inspect, supervise, and urge the peak period of fighting to prevent and repel smuggling, trade fraud, counterfeit goods, and infringement of intellectual property rights in the province, headed by Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do.
