At the headquarters of the Ministry of Health, Central Party Committee member and Minister of Health Dao Hong Lan chaired a conference to announce and hand over decisions on the transfer, appointment and reappointment of leaders of a number of units under the Ministry.
At the ceremony, Minister Dao Hong Lan presented Decision No. 2992/QD-BYT dated September 22, 2025 on the reappointment of Associate Professor, Dr. Le Viet Dung - Deputy Director of the Department of Drug Administration (Ministry of Health). The term of office is 5 years, starting from October 14, 2025.
At the same time, the Minister presented Decision No. 3169/QD-BYT dated October 7, 2025 on the transfer and appointment of Dr. Tran Duc Huu - Deputy Director of the Vietnam Academy of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy (Ministry of Health) to hold the position of Deputy Director of the Department of Traditional Medicine and Pharmacy Management. The term of office is 5 years, from the date of signing and promulgation.
Speaking at the ceremony, Minister Dao Hong Lan congratulated the Department of Drug Administration, the Department of Medicine and Traditional Medicine Administration and the two comrades on being trusted with new responsibilities. The Minister expressed his confidence that in their assigned positions, the comrades will continue to promote their professional capacity, sense of responsibility, and collective solidarity to excellently complete their tasks, contributing to the overall development of the health sector.
Representatives of the appointed officials, Associate Professor, Dr. Le Viet Dung and Dr. Tran Duc Huu expressed their deep gratitude to the Party Committee and the leaders of the Ministry of Health for their trust and assignment of the task; at the same time, affirmed that they will continuously strive to practice and actively contribute to the management of pharmaceuticals and traditional medicine, effectively serving the work of protecting, caring for and improving people's health.
