Thousands of doctors participate in ensuring health
To ensure absolute safety for the parade and parade at the 80th Anniversary of the success of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 (A80 event), the Ministry of Health mobilized thousands of doctors, nurses, medical staff and hundreds of teams to be on duty in key areas.
Deputy Minister of Health Prof. Dr. Tran Van Thuan said that the Ministry of Health issued a master plan 1105/KH-BYT, covering food safety, disease prevention, emergency care to disaster situations.
The Hanoi Department of Health arranged 94 duty teams with 370 staff and 37 ambulances; Bach Mai Hospital mobilized 7 medical teams and a professional council including leading professors. The Military Medical Department deployed 317 soldiers, 56 ambulances and 14 military medical stations; the Ministry of Public Security's Department of Health also assigned forces to participate in the deployment. Major hospitals in Hanoi have prepared hospital beds, medicine, equipment, ready to receive and handle unusual situations.
With the synchronous participation of the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security and medical facilities, the health care and protection of delegates and people participating in this important event is guaranteed at the highest level.
Associate Professor, Dr. Dao Xuan Co - Director of Bach Mai Hospital - said that, implementing the assignment of the Ministry of Health, the hospital has sent 7 medical teams (including doctors, nurses, drivers and ambulances) with expertise in handling first aid, stroke, cardiovascular disease...to serve the celebration.
Of which, 5 teams were on duty at Ba Dinh Square and 3 medical vehicles were deployed at the Mausoleum and the stands.The hospital also established a professional Council with leading professors and doctors in many specialties, and sent 6 experts to participate in the on-duty and provide professional advice to the Steering Committee.
To serve tens of thousands of delegates, armed forces and people attending the A80 Anniversary Ceremony, medical work has been deployed synchronously, mobilizing maximum human resources, means and organizing ready rescue in all situations.
No unfortunate medical incidents
Dr. Ha Anh Duc, Director of the Department of Medical Examination and Treatment Management (Ministry of Health) informed that on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution and National Day on September 2, medical work was deployed synchronously with the participation of a large number of central and local medical units, ensuring emergency care and treatment for tens of thousands of people, delegates and forces participating in parades and parades.
A total of 211 medical teams with 1,097 medical staff directly served during the holiday. Key medical forces include the Hanoi Department of Health, the Military Medical Department, the Public Security Health Department and central hospitals such as Bach Mai, Huu Nghi, Viet Duc, E. There are 134 ambulances ready at crowded places, parade areas and stands. The Hanoi Department of Health mobilized the largest force with 88 teams, 370 employees and 37 ambulances. The military medical team participated in 61 teams, 364 employees, and 68 ambulances. The police medical team mobilized 40 teams, 264 staff and 17 ambulances. Other central hospitals have also increased their staff.
Dr. Ha Anh Duc added that the medical force has received and treated 1,315 cases. Of which, 113 severe cases had to be transferred to hospitals for monitoring and intensive treatment. In addition to taking care of emergency care, Huu Nghi, Viet Duc, Bach Mai and E hospitals also directly support delegates, international visitors and the civil area.
According to the report, Viet Duc Friendship Hospital alone directly served 12 delegates, 5 service groups, 7 standing groups and 2 civil cases.
"Thanks to the close coordination between units, all arising situations are handled quickly, preventing serious medical incidents, contributing significantly to the overall success of the A80 Anniversary Ceremony," said Dr. Ha Anh Duc.
