Khanh Hoa The Director of Khanh Hoa General Hospital and 30 doctors and nurses examined patients, provided free medicine and presented gifts to support people after the flood.

Deploying activities to care for people's health after floods, on November 25, Khanh Hoa General Hospital organized a program to examine patients, provide free medicine and give gifts to people in Dien Dien and Dien Khanh communes.

These are all areas that suffered heavy damage during the recent floods. The program was carried out simultaneously at Dien Son Health Station and Dien An Health Station, with the participation of more than 30 doctors and nurses.

Recorded at the examination, many people suffered from common diseases after flooding such as dermatitis, respiratory tract infections, bone and joint pain, etc. Early examination helped them have timely treatment, limiting complications due to polluted environment after floods.

The Khanh Hoa Provincial Center for Disease Control also supported 300 bags of family medicine to distribute for free to the people. This is a practical source of support, helping people proactively take care of their health during the period of risk of disease outbreak.

Mr. Le Vu Chuong - Director of Khanh Hoa General Hospital - said that after the flood, the environment has many potential epidemic risks, especially for the elderly and people with underlying diseases such as high blood pressure.

Doctors at the program consulted on long-term treatment regimens to prevent complications. The program has examined and provided free medicine to more than 400 cases.

This activity was also accompanied by the volunteer group "Journey to sow love" from Ho Chi Minh City, carrying 14 boxes of medicine, nearly 1,700 pairs of socks, 1,400 underwear, 100 bags of rice, 100 student backpacks, 1,000 boxes of fish, 380 blankets...

The delegation also supported an additional 60 million VND to buy milk, canned goods and necessities for people in flooded areas.
