On September 16, the Khanh Hoa Department of Health sent an official dispatch to the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism, localities to coordinate in handling the situation of advertising beyond the scope of expertise or advertising without a license to operate medical examination and treatment.
Recently, the Department of Health has received many complaints from people about some medical examination and treatment facilities advertising on social networking platforms such as Facebook, Zalo... but the content is not in accordance with regulations.
In particular, there are cases of advertising beyond the licensed expertise, advertising without an operating license or posting vague information, lacking addresses and contact numbers, easily causing misunderstanding to people.
To strengthen management, the Department of Health recommends that the Department of Culture - Sports and Tourism remove and block illegal advertising links; at the same time, coordinate to inspect and supervise advertising activities in the health sector, promptly handle violations.
The list of private medical examination and treatment facilities that have been licensed is made public on the Khanh Hoa Department of Health's Electronic Information Portal.
Along with that, the Department of Health requested the People's Committees of communes, wards and special zones to review medical facilities in the area, compare them with the list of licensed facilities, and promptly rectify facilities operating in violation of regulations.
