The bite is medium, with less blood, but Mr. B only washed the wound with cold water, did not go to the rabies vaccine, did not inject anti -rabies serum. The dog after biting was beaten to death.
By 9.4, Mr. B showed expression of fatigue and sore throat. The next day was so tired, emotional, breathing down, fear of water, fear of wind, choking, difficulty swallowing. Family members took him to Binh Thuan General Hospital and was diagnosed with rabies.
The family would like to take the patient home and Mr. B died later. In addition, the dog bite Mr. B also bite 2 more people in Mrs. H's family (owner of the dog) and 1 neighbor who went to the morning exercise. All 3 of them went to rabies serum and rabies vaccine.
Previously, there were 3 cases of rabies deaths in Binh Thuan, since the beginning of 2025. These cases have not been vaccinated after being bitten by dogs and cats.
