This creates a rush, making it difficult for stools to pass. cross-legging will lift your knees, help stretch your pelvic floor muscles and widen that angle, thereby making stools pass more easily.
Dr. Srinivasan says crossing your legs can create a mild strain in the abdomen. This mild pressure can help push the phany outward.
"However, it is important to note that this technique is not a miracle solution. Scientific evidence of its effectiveness is still limited, but reports and some small studies suggest that this method may benefit some people, Mr. Srinivasan noted.
When is this method effective, when not?
Dr. Srinivasan says that the effectiveness of cross-leg surgery in reducing constipation can vary depending on a number of factors:
severity of constipation: If you have mild constipation, this method can help relieve the condition. However, for severe or chronic constipation, this method may not be the only solution.
Causes of constipation: The root cause of constipation is very important. If constipation is caused by diet, lifestyle or health problems, crossing the legs may not be effective in addressing these causes.
Each person's body is different: pelvic shape and location of internal organs can affect how the cross-leggedness affects your anorectal corners.
Should this method be applied regularly?
Dr. Srinivasan affirms that although trying this method regularly is not harmful, it is not a long-term solution or a preventative measure for constipation.
He advises that if you find cross-leggedness easier to get a diarrhea, you can incorporate it into your routine.
However, this method should not be used alone to control constipation. To maintain long-term digestive health, you need to prioritize a diet rich in fiber, drink enough water and exercise regularly.
