Breakfast is considered the most important meal of the day, but not all options are really good for health. Many seemingly healthy dishes can disrupt hormones, reduce energy and make the body go hungry quickly, according to hindustantimes.
Health coach Mankorat Kaur (Director of Fettle Fitness Hub Health Training Center) shared that a balanced breakfast needs to have enough protein, carbohydrates and good fats.
However, many people have the habit of choosing traditional dishes such as avocado grilled noodles, which are rich in carbohydrates but lack the necessary nutrients. As a result, insulin levels spike, energy drops, leading to sweet cravings and loss of concentration.
Some popular options but considered bad for hormonal health include:
Cereals with milk: High in sugar, low in protein. It is better to use homemade granola with Greek yogurt.
Coffee/te with cookies: only provide empty carbohydrates, causing rapid hunger. Replace with nuts or eggs with coffee after meals.
Processed white blood shirt and filling sandwiches: easily cause inflammation and increase blood sugar. A reasonable choice is whole wheat noodle soup with eggs, cheese and vegetables.
Poha/Upma: Rich in starch, low in protein. You can add vegetables and combine them with paneer or bean sprouts.
Fruit juice + baked bamboo sticks: Originally food but high in sugar. Replace with whole fruits and a banh mi bo but but but or eggs.
Instant oats have the flavor: lots of hidden sugar, little fiber. You should choose rolled oats with chia seeds and fruit.
Eat only fruit for breakfast: Not enough energy, easily causing mood swings. It should be combined with protein such as yogurt or eggs.
Bright breakfast determines hormones and energy throughout the day. Prioritize protein, fiber, and healthy fats to maintain metabolism and hormonal stability, stressed health coach Kaur.
