The above-mentioned subjects are supported with medical examination and treatment costs for dangerous diseases such as: cancer of all kinds; cirrhosis of the cervix; cardiovascular disease with surgical intervention, complications; chronic kidney failure in the stage requiring dialysis; spinal cord failure; paralysis due to all causes, when treated, they are considered for support from 30 to 60% outside the insurance regulations.
In addition to the above-mentioned support, expenses such as: Hospital transfer and emergency costs outside the province applied in case of using a transfer vehicle of a medical examination and treatment facility as prescribed; Hospital transfer fee according to reality or maximum contract support level as prescribed by the province, suitable for the treatment line. High-tech costs, specialized drugs, drugs outside the health insurance list as prescribed by expertise: maximum support of 15 million VND/treatment. Expert consultation costs, required examination, advanced tests: maximum support of 5 million VND/treatment according to actual costs. Long-term inpatient treatment meal costs (from Saturday onwards): maximum support of 100,000 VND/day/person, calculated from the 8th day, not exceeding 30 days/treatment session.
The total amount of support for medical examination and treatment costs for 01 person, including support for other expenses, does not exceed 50 million VND/person/year. In case of dangerous diseases or high treatment costs, based on medical conclusions and appraisal of the Professional Council, BTVTU considers support exceeding the level, but not exceeding 100 million VND/person/year.
The funding for implementation is allocated from the local budget according to the current budget decentralization. The estimated total funding for supporting officials under the management of BTVTU is about 5 billion VND/year.
