On May 25, the Food Safety Department (Ministry of Health) sent a document to the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Health and the Hanoi Food Safety and Hygiene Department requesting urgent inspection, verification of production activities, and testing samples of some weight loss products that DJ Ngan 98 is advertising widely on social networks.
According to the Food Safety Department, recently, products such as X100, Super Detox X3 weight loss pills, X7 plus advertised by DJ Ngan 98 have received great attention from public opinion and the media due to suspicions of containing banned substances that are dangerous to users' health.
The Department has conducted a review on the online public service system and determined that only the X7 plus product is a health protection food and has received the dossier to be announced at the Department. Specifically, this product was announced and is responsible by ZUBU Trading and Service Company Limited, address 154 Pham Van Chieu, Ward 9, Go Vap District, Ho Chi Minh City.
The product is produced at Nanotesla High-Tech Pharmaceutical Production Company Limited, address: Dan Phuong Industrial Park, Dan Phuong Commune, Dan Phuong District, Hanoi City, with the announcement number 5297/2021/DKSP dated June 14, 2021.
The Food Safety Department affirmed that it did not issue any advertising certificates for the above products.
Pursuant to the provisions of Article 40 of Decree 15/2018/ND-CP, the Department has issued a document requesting local authorities to urgently inspect the production and advertising process, and conduct testing samples to detect banned substances (if any), strictly handle them according to the provisions of law.
